Who we are

iVB Boxing, also written as iVB or IVB, formally iVisit Boxing, is the boxing arm of iVisit Media, the promoter behind the Iconic Boxing Series and the San Francisco World Championship Boxing Card at Civic Center Plaza on July 11, 2026. References to “we”, “us”, or “iVB Boxing” in this policy mean iVisit Boxing.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit www.ivb.co, sign up for our newsletter (The Red Corner), apply for press accreditation, submit a partnership enquiry, apply to fight on an iVB Boxing card, or request VIP hospitality. It also explains how we use that information, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

What we collect

We collect only the personal information you actively provide to us through forms on the site, plus a small amount of technical information that is collected automatically when you browse. The categories are:

  • Form submissions. Your name, email address, phone number, postcode or city, organisation, role, fighter or boxing details, and free-text notes, depending on which form you complete.
  • Newsletter signups. Email address, plus the date and source of signup.
  • Ticket purchases. Tickets are sold by our ticketing partner Ticket Tailor. We do not handle your payment card information ourselves.
  • Site analytics. Aggregate, anonymous usage data through Vercel Web Analytics, pages viewed, country, device type. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, fulfil ticket orders, send the newsletters you have asked for, review press and fighter applications, communicate with partners, and run analytics that help us improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Legal basis (UK / EU visitors)

Our lawful bases under UK and EU data-protection law are: consent (for marketing emails, you opt in and can opt out at any time), contract (to fulfil ticket orders and hospitality requests), and legitimate interests (to respond to press, partner, and fighter applications, and to keep the site running and secure).

Who we share it with

We work with a small number of carefully chosen service providers who process information on our behalf, including:

  • Vercel, hosting and web analytics for www.ivb.co.
  • Google Sheets, secure storage for form submissions, accessed only by the iVB team.
  • Mailchimp, newsletter delivery for The Red Corner.
  • Ticket Tailor, ticket sales, delivery, and customer support.
  • Google Apps Script, confirmation emails for VIP hospitality requests.
  • Google Chat, internal notifications when forms are submitted.

We do not share your personal information with anyone outside this list, except where required by law.

International transfers

iVB Boxing operates from the United Kingdom and runs events in the United States. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in either jurisdiction. We rely on the standard safeguards required by applicable law, including the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses where they apply.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we genuinely need it. Form submissions are retained for as long as the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Newsletter subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregate and retained per Vercel’s standard retention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, object to certain uses, and ask for it to be exported in a portable format. Visitors in California also have the rights extended by the California CPRA, including the right to opt out of any “sale” or “share” (we do neither). To exercise any of these rights, email us using the address in the Contact section below.

Cookies

The site uses a minimal set of cookies. Details are on the cookies page.

Children

The site is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. The site runs on Vercel infrastructure with TLS encryption end-to-end, and form data is written to access-controlled storage.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services evolve. The “Last reviewed” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the site.

Contact

For privacy enquiries, email hello@ivb.co or use the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and at the latest within the period required by applicable law.
